The Sukothai Bangkok Hotel

Professional business event planners demanding exclusive meeting space in Thailand can now turn to The Sukhothai Bangkok hotel with the launch of upmarket meeting rooms located in the new garden precinct of the property.

The new Garden Villa Meeting Rooms are set in 7,000 square metres of lush gardens adjacent to the hotel, enabling companies to conduct strategic business discussions in the heart of Bangkok yet feel removed from the bustle and distractions of a downtown location.

Four separate meeting rooms, which can host up to 20 delegates each, are set over two floors. The upper floors also have balconies overlooking the gardens, providing a perfect location for a coffee break and a breath of fresh air.

This private location can also cater to product launches, team-building events and cocktails on the villa lawns for parties of up to 500.

The Sukhothai Bangkok General Manager, George Benney, said meeting and conference planners are now provided with an ideal venue to house small, dedicated meetings or executive retreats, with the Garden Villa Meeting Rooms also offering the perfect location for upmarket breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

The Garden Villa Meeting Rooms complex is equipped with a dedicated kitchen and staff to cater to these events and planners utilising these facilities are all provided with two dedicated members of staff to ensure smooth execution of their programmes.

“There is no doubt this location will impress event planners exploring new venues in Bangkok searching for off-site locations within hotel grounds,” Mr Benney said.

“The design and concept further takes into consideration the need for natural light to invigorate the rooms and make the most of the tranquil garden surroundings.”

To coincide with the launch of the Garden Villa Meeting Rooms, the hotel’s Bussabong Business Centre has been totally renovated with six boardrooms, seating up to 12 delegates and upgraded secretariat facilities.

These new meeting facilities complement the existing space the hotel has for larger corporate events and meetings of up to 350 on the hotel’s sixth and seventh floors and its ballroom complex.
